Notes on a Centrifugal Chiller Performance and Community Sound Walk

This performance documents the transmission and sonic entanglement between a vocal ensemble and a university sports arena’s water-cooled chiller system. Using experimental vocal techniques and digital synthesis interventions in software like VCV Rack, the ensemble breathed with, sung like, and modulated the cooling system’s ceaseless and expansive hum.
